As part of my role as Director of Marketing, I encouraged the organization to reimagine its website and begin creating a repository of original, educational content directed to its main audience (patients and their caregivers), rather than providing outbound links to other organizations' content. This page and its assets were produced as part of the switch to original content.

WEBSITE REBRAND

​

As the first-ever marketing hire for the company, my first task was to create a new company website to feature more in-depth information about its services and products and build a base presence on social media that were appropriate for their target market.

​

My Role: Created inbound content marketing strategy to establish company's expertise using a blog, case studies, whitepapers, and videos; selected appropriate social media (LinkedIn and YouTube) for niche B2B audience; created RFP for web design, vetted responses, and selected final vendor; wrote all website copy; drafted blog entries, case studies, whitepapers; designed rotating homepage banners; worked with relevant vendor(s) to create videos for site; updated and maintained site via custom CMS

​

Fun Fact: After the first year, traffic to the company website increased by 38%; organic search traffic increased by 30%; LinkedIn following increased by 85%, with growth increasing by 20% per month; new business increased by 12%.

ROTATING HOMEPAGE BANNERS

The company website's homepage featured a rotating banner at the top, which highlighted the most recent blog post, video, case study, whitepaper, or company news. 

​

HEAD AND NECK CANCER RISK FACTORS EDUCATIONAL ASSETS

​

To educate the public on the risk factors for head and neck cancer, this infographic and related video were created, housed on the website, and distributed on owned social media channels during the year and especially during the non-profit's Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Week in April.

​

My Role:  Conceptualized infographic; selected information to be included in graphic; provided oversight, feedback, and required edits to in-house designer; posted to website via WordPress; distributed via selected social media channels; tracked relevant metrics and reported on performance

TEAM EXPERTISE INFOGRAPHICS

​

The employer wanted to illustrate the depth of expertise of the various teams that work on client projects. These infographics were created to demonstrate the in-house experience available to clients who choose to work with the employer.

​

My Role:  Conceptualized the infographics; created survey tools to capture necessary information from all relevant staff; sent out and followed up on all surveys; compiled all information gathered from surveys; designed infographics; uploaded graphics to website via custom CMS; maintained and updated graphics as staff changed 

​
